My name is Alessandro Mangione. Roman proud. Over 30 years-old. I’m an Information Technology specialist and, among others, I deal with Web design.

I enjoy travelling, I like observing the world under a motorcycle helmet and I love discovering the mysterious beauty of the undersea world. As a result, I also get involved into underwater photography, not only travel photography.

Travelling, living and taking pictures have the same meaning to me. Travel makes you more open-minded and you are to understand that there are no borders, just horizons. It allows you to view the world in a different way and it helps you to take nothing for granted. Photography has become a way of appreciate the world and it serves as a universal language.

Mi chiamo Alessandro Mangione, sono nato a Roma e ho superato i trent'anni da un po'. Lavoro nel campo dell'Information Technology e sono anche un Web designer.

Adoro viaggiare, mi piace osservare il mondo con i suoi colori sotto il casco da moto e sono attratto dalle meraviglie dei fondali sottomarini. E così, nel corso del tempo, la fotografia di viaggio è diventata anche fotografia subacquea.

Fotografare, viaggiare e vivere, per me, rappresentano la stessa cosa. Il viaggio allarga la mente e ci fa comprendere che non esistono confini, ma solo orizzonti. Ci insegna ad osservare il tutto con occhi diversi e a non dare nulla per scontato. Fotografare significa apprezzare il mondo, ricercare un'immagine o una situazione che parli un linguaggio universale.
